BATON ROUGE, La., Jan 8, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- APPRO Systems, Inc., the leading provider of automated credit risk management and financial technologies for the lending industry, today announced that it has successfully interfaced Houston-based Credit Union Acceptance Corporation's (CUAC) credit evaluation system into the DealerTrack(TM) online auto financing platform. CUAC is a Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO) founded by eight Houston-based credit unions to represent credit unions in the indirect finance market.

This interface enables automobile dealers throughout Texas, Florida and South Carolina to submit consumer lease and loan applications online to LoanCenter Consumer(TM), APPRO's consumer loan automation system. The consumer's application information -- submitted via the Web -- is integrated into CUAC's decisioning engine via the DealerTrack interface. This allows dealers to receive a response from CUAC on credit applications in as little as a few seconds.

"Using DealerTrack enables automobile dealers to see us as a valuable lending source and gives us a mechanism to compete with banks and other credit unions," said Adrian Dominguez, president and CEO of Credit Union Acceptance Corp. "In fact, since implementing the platform, in one month alone, we have seen a 25 percent increase in funded loans. I have worked with APPRO for more than six years and am consistently impressed with APPRO's ability to create solutions for its customers. Their high level of support makes it possible for us to continue to better serve our credit union clients and their members."

APPRO's interface with DealerTrack is immediately available to APPRO customers running the LoanCenter system. The interface is a translation layer embedded within APPRO Loan Exchange (ALEX), APPRO's robust middleware tool that connects APPRO databases to third party systems. ALEX uses HTTP/HTTPS protocols to communicate securely with DealerTrack.

"APPRO Systems has been successful because we work with our customers to constantly improve our offerings to ensure they get the most out of our solutions," said Steve Uffman, CEO of APPRO Systems, Inc. "Working with CUAC to develop an interface with DealerTrack adds greater value to the APPRO system CUAC already has in place."
