NEW YORK (AFX) -- U.S. stocks closed lower Friday in a late-session pullback after a weaker-than-expected December employment report sparked concern about the ability of the U.S. economy to create new jobs. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed down 130 points or 1.2 percent at 10,462, its first triple-digit intraday decline since November 17 2003. The Nasdaq Composite put an end to a run of five consecutive sessions of gains to close down 13 points or 0.6 percent at 2,087. The S&P 500 was down 10 points or 0.9 percent at 1,123.
